When we first created the Superhero Flyer game app in 2017, we thought the U.S. would have the most players. It turns out India, the United States, and Brazil in order are the top three countries that love this Android game. Superhero Flyer is a one-touch casual action game where using careful strategy helps you win. In a recent tweet we teased a new game level. There are actually 3 new levels for you to enjoy. Even better news is we've added an online high score leaderboard. Superhero Flyer gameplay gets faster and faster as the levels increase. What makes the action unpredictable is how long certain superheroes appear and disappear as you play.    Another new way to enjoy the game is by using a new pause feature when you need a quick break. There are consequences when you pause the action too often. You'll discover what they are as you experiment and try it out.     To access the online leaderboard, touch the Login button as you see above under the red check mark.     Once you are logged in, if you already have a high score in the game (on your phone/tablet), touch the Send Score button highlighted above under the red check mark. That will send your high score to the online leaderboard. Send your high score at anytime you are logged in from the screen above. There is a really low minimum high score to get on the leaderboard. Even if you are not logged in and are not online your high score is saved within the game on your phone or tablet so you can send it to the leaderboard any time (you are logged in). By the way we love this game on a tablet. To see your leaderboard score or the game leaders when you are logged in, touch the green Leaders crown. Good luck! This new version 1.6 of Superhero Flyer is available now.

About a couple of years ago I received the following email on a Saturday night from Ezell who wrote: "I am looking to get into the industry and like you focused on African American games. How have you found the industry has it been lucrative?" Here was my exact answer: "Hello Ezell. The app industry is extremely hyper competitive so you have to know what you are doing. Lucrative income was not my primary motivation for creating apps. I will tell you that out of 20 apps we have released 4 of the top 5 money makers do have African American themes or images however some have cross-over appeal beyond the black market. Not all of our apps have African American themes. Focus on research. Study the market. Release high quality products." I wonder how Ezell is doing now and if a decision was made to take the first step by moving forward. You just have to do it and make a move without fear to accomplish what you want. Here's a tweet along with a link to an article I shared that is relevant to the theme of Ezell's question. "Anyone can do it," making apps that is, but you have to believe in yourself first!   How to make a video game @Clickteam @Basic4Android. Don't knock online training if you've never tried it. We recently counted 19 certificates of completion from Udemy courses we've tackled going back to 2015. Discipline is the key to success to sharpen a skill or learn something new. The convenience to set your own schedule and pace are big benefits with online courses. We've done other online courses with additional trainers too, however Udemy is our favorite. Our total certificate of completion count from everyone is 37. As someone who was successful slogging it out at a 4 year school to get a college degree the traditional way by attending classroom lectures I have a passionate appreciation for both worlds: old school and new school learning. You still have lots of time left before the end of 2018 to make your move! Lifelong learning makes a lot of sense. Lifelong learning makes a difference. Go for it.

Hugh Smith If you are into game cheat videos, climb on board with me as I try to get through all of the levels of Super Hero Flyer Game App without embarrassing myself. You'll get a lot of cool tips about how to approach the game with strategy. I share a bunch during the game play but I don't give it all away. You will definitely discover more about how to play the game. There is a nice help screen in the game app that is a great guide for all of the superhero character moves. In an earlier blog post about the Superhero Flyer team I give credit to the other international crew members who helped contribute to the development of the game. I've just added a big extra you don't see and I don't mention in the video and that benefit to you in the game will be released soon. Watch the video and see if I can beat the game!

  • 0 The App that Reveals what Made America Great

"You will make a difference in the world, but not immediately. Your first obligation is to find something you like doing, because if you like doing it, you'll do it well" -- Condoleezza Rice. These words of wisdom sum up the thousands of thoughts we've compiled into a comprehensive black history resource app that has just been released. As you read through Black History Quotes Express you won't be disappointed.  What I found most interesting in doing the research for this project about the men and women we profile was that their true personalities can't be masked when they write or speak their minds. Follow the link above for all the details about this new Android App. Watch the video below to hear me tell the inside story. This is the app that reveals what made America great.

Here's what Android app expert Andy Malavevi had to say writing about our AAeMojis app that you can download now. Note we do include a couple of animated gifs in this first release. More are coming - Hugh Smith "The app works very well. The emojis are very unique. But I would suggest you also add more emojis as possible as this will make the app even more valuable. What I consider a must in your app is to add even more African American Animated Gif emojis this will also make the app more professional."

You are having fun with your friends texting back and forth. Inserting the right visual illustration representing your exact feeling is frustrating because the emojis you are using are bland, dull, and dated. Clicking on over into the Google Play app store, you start searching for emojis that can represent you with some class. You try a few of the freebie apps that are a joke. Some of them are embarrassingly bad. Some of them claim that they are free, but then they try to charge you multiple times for grabbing a few more desirable characters from their stash. You find AAeMojis in the store and download all 100 of the gang. Now you are really ready for a texting and social media jam. Below are just a few of the AAeMojis who squeezed into their launch party selfie on April 30, 2018. Tell your friends about them. Read more about the AAeMojis App so you can get yours.    Who is behind that mask?

In May of 2017, we created an emoji game that was a lot of fun to create and play. QuikMoji was released in June 2017 to the Google Play Store. We've held back on offering to you the individual emojis until now. There are over 10,000 Android devices so it is difficult to create an emoji app that works successfully across the board. If your device does not have a button to switch back and forth from the standard QWERTY (ABC) keyboard to the emoji keyboard then you'll probably be very unhappy. Many devices do not have this kind of button. We needed to come up with a solution that gets around this limitation so we took our time to work out the details. The new app is called AAeMojis (not the full name). It's completely finished and tested. Look for the Android version very soon!
