Today, in any major USA city, you would be hard pressed to find 4 popular FM music stations, owned by 4 different companies, as was the case in the 1980s. Now, the largest corporate players have taken control of most of these media facilities to compete for listeners and dollars.

What do all 4 of these Philadelphia FM radio stations below have in common? Besides great music, they share my contribution to connecting wonderful tunes to the soul of great listeners.

Connecting On-Air

Walk with me through four years on the air in Philadelphia at a different FM music station each year. It’s a snapshot of a music era you should enjoy. Experience 1983, 1984, 1985 and 1986.
